The short version

Velix has no accounts, no sign-up and no server that stores anything about you. The interface is a static site that talks directly to a public blockchain from your browser.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Segment or equivalent in this application.
  • No cookies set by us. The site sets none.
  • No accounts and no personal data. There is nothing to register, so there is no name, email or password to hold.
  • No backend. The application has no server-side routes. Nothing you do here is posted to a Velix server, because there is not one.

What stays in your browser

Connecting a wallet stores your connection preference — which wallet you chose, and that you chose to connect — in your browser's local storage, so the page can reconnect on your next visit. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Your wallet address is used only to read balances and positions from the chain. It is public information on a public ledger, and we do not store or link it to anything.

Third parties your browser contacts

Loading the site causes your browser to make requests to services we do not control. They can see your IP address and what you requested, and their own policies apply:

  • rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com — the Robinhood Chain RPC, used for every onchain read and to submit transactions you sign.
  • robinhoodchain.blockscout.com — the block explorer, only when you follow a contract or transaction link.
  • Your wallet extension or app, which has its own privacy policy and its own network connections.

Fonts are served from this site rather than fetched from Google, so loading a page does not tell a font provider you were here. If Velix is deployed behind a host such as Vercel, that host will keep its own server logs.

Transactions are public

Anything you do onchain — depositing, redeeming, transferring a vault share — is recorded permanently on a public blockchain by design. It is not private, we cannot delete it, and neither can you.

Changes

If this application starts collecting anything, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
